What a Happy Sunday!!!!!

I have many posts to be coming here just as soon as I get my memory card back. So much has happened and life has been so busy. So many things to blog, so little time to do it in!!!!

Anyway, yesterday morning I woke up around 6 am with a pain in my left lower back. I was hoping that it was just a little kink, so I rolled over hoping it would be relieved. It didn't. I lay there thinking that it can't be what I think it is. I laid there for a few more minutes as the pain got worse. I got up, went to the bathroom, hoping it would go away, but within a few minutes I knew my worst fear had come true...IT WAS ANOTHER KIDNEY STONE!!! Now, to those of you who haven't had a kidney stone and wonder what they feel like. Imagine the worse pain you have ever felt in your life, times it by 100, and that is what a kidney stone feels like. Then add to that violent vomiting. (I actually told Adam and the doctor several times, "I just want to die!") So I woke Adam up, told Adam what was going on. He said, "What do you want to do?" I said, "GO TO THE HOSPITAL." When I was pregnant with Lexi I had four kidney stones within six weeks. I am no stranger to the game or in Adam's words "It ain't this cowboys first rodeo." The half hour drive to the hospital may as well have been 10 hours. I nearly kicked the windshield out as I was writhing in pain. I got to the hospital and a close friend of my parent's was my nurse, which was a comfort. From the time I felt the pain until they got my knocked out with drugs was probably about 1 hour and 15 minutes of TOTAL HELL!!! Well maybe that is a bit dramatic, but you get the picture. They say that dehydration can cause them, and anyone who knows me knows that I could go weeks without drinking anything. I guess I will have to work on that more. Anyway, I slept at the hospital for a few hours, got home later that morning, slept the entire day. Went back to bed that night, woke up this morning feeling back to my usual self. If you are looking for the silver lining, it couldn't have happened on a better day. Adam was home. I didn't have to work. I had no responsibilities to worry about. And back to a fun work week today. The only effects I have left are sore veins in my left hand where they pumped me full of fluids and pain medication. Again...what a fun Sunday!

I'm so sorry! I have never had a kidney stone but Mike has had a few of them and I have to say (don't tell him I told you this) while passing a kidney stone is the ONLY time I have ever heard him cuss. He likes people to think he doesn't swear but I know better.

I'm glad you are feeling better now though. And, hey, keep a water bottle on ya, okay!:) (And use it!)

My gosh Cami..I had no idea that you get kidney stones. You poor girl, I know quite a few people that get them and they say they are the worst pain ever. I am so sorry, hopefully no more will come your way for awhile.
