Boys Will Be Boys
I never truly understood the difference between the energy level of boys and girls until my little guy hit 2 years old. HE'S CRAZY!!!! He can walk into a room and quickly assess anything that a 2-year-old should not play with and that is what he wants. He is definitely my trial in life right now, but what a cute little trial he is.
I came into the room and found him giving riding lessons to his bear.
Here he is all dressed up to ride, he loves his chaps!
He got into my makeup and thought the mascara was lipgloss.
Playing with his bulls in the tub
Blowing out his birthday candles
Unwrapping his birthday presents
He is crazy in the bath!!

Wedding Day

Yesterday my little sister got married. It was such a fun day and I am so happy for her. I couldn't resist posting the picture of my cute little family. I was a bridesmaid and Lexi was a flower girl, so we went and got our hair done by Amy (Thanks Ames, it looked awesome!). All three of us had all brand new clothes. I have the cutest kids in the world.

Valentine's Day
So I know I am a week late with this post, but hey...that is my life.
Ever since I was in high school every year for Valentine's Day my mom has made each person in our family a BIG pink heart cookie with our name written on it. She is such a trooper as our family has now grown to the huge number of 21 (which is a lot when we are talking about making big sugar cookies!) This year she had shoulder surgery a week before Valentine's Day and was on vacation the week before that and planning my sister's wedding (which is TODAY!!!) But do you think that could stop the tradition... NOPE! She arranged everything and enlisted my dad's help to make sure the tradition continues. Now these are not just regular sugar cookies with pink frosting, my brother Jeff coined the term (sorry for the profanity, his words...not mine) "Big Ass Cookies." Anyone who has hung around my parents house around Valentine's Day for the past 10 or so years has coveted the "Big A Cookies" (what the rest of us call them...except my dad who still settles for "Big Pink Cookies" and disappointedly looks at the rest of us when we use the other two terms). It is a fun tradition and one I hope mom keeps up on as our family continually grows. The best part of it is that they deliver them to our houses to see us on V-Day as well and with 21 big cookies, that takes multiple trips around to each of our houses. Love you mom!!!

Here is what a 2-year-old looks like when their hero (his grandpa) has to leave to deliver cookies to the other grandkids.
