Wow...what a week!

This has been one of those intersting weeks where you don't know what is going to happen until it happens.

Our week started at 3:30 a.m. on Monday when Bracken woke up throwing up. The hardest part about a 2-year-old being sick is that they don't understand why you won't feed them or give them their cup of milk while they watch Curious George. Let's just say it was tantrum after tantrum.

As the day went on I thought he was doing better. He finally sat up and ate some stuff.

Then he was bouncing off the walls.

Well 5 minutes later he threw up again!!!!

Lexi did get to play in the snow on Monday. It lasted all of 5 minutes, but she had fun. Playing in the snow takes longer to get dressed and undressed than you really can play in the snow.

On Monday night, Lexi was having a hard time going to bed, so I let her come down and lay in the spare bed while I worked. (She claims she was scared upstairs...as if she doesn't sleep up there every night). She came into my office and had a blanket on her head. I could see some short bangs sticking out the front so I pulled her blanket off and SHE HAD CUT HER HAIR!!! We have been growing it out for 2 years and how is it like a mullet "business in the front, party in the back." Okay so not that dramatic, but it definitely will need some help. I definitely overreacted (come on Cam, it's just hair!), hence the sad face in the pictures. (I apologized after!)

Then Wednesday morning I walk into the family room to see that Bracken (after 3 weeks of the tree being up) finally realized that the ornaments are glass and they are fun to smash to pieces. Needless to say, over half of my ornaments are gone!

Then on Friday morning Lexi woke up at 1:00 a.m. throwing up.

Well it is only noon on Friday, so the week isn't even over yet, but let's hope the rest of today and the weekend are without incident.

Oh, wow Cami. I don't know what else to say. That is more than one mom should have to deal with in one week. I hope things get better.

Holy freaking cow! Isn't that how it goes? I was going to ask if you wanted to adopt Tayah this week? I guess you already have enough going on! Miss ya!

Cami Brough my little friend how are you. Your sister contacted me today through face book and added me so I could see her blog now I get to watch yours too. I hope you are doing well. You look good and your little family is so cute. Talk to you later. Sorry about the sick kids.

Oh, what a week! That's the worst when the little ones are sick. You always wish there was more you could do for them.

If you need a good hair dresser to help fix Lexi's hair...I think I might know a good one!

Doesn't it just seem like when one big thing happens-there are always more to come. Of course it can't stretch itself into weeks! But maybe that's best-instead of having a long crazy month, it can be dreadful but short! I dunno??? Lexi did go nuts with her hair -make sure you post the outcome of her haircut! Hope the kids feel better and you and Adam don't cath it in the meantime! Good luck girly!!!

I thought those weeks only happened to me! Sorry you have had such a stress filled week but I'm glad to know I have some company.

Ps there are reasons all my ornaments are unbreakable. The other day Kirsti asked why we couldn't have any of those "pretty glass balls that make the lights sparkle" Well now I can show her without having to buy the bulbs or clean up the mess. Thanks

I love how you put towels under Bracken on the couch in case he missed his little "Barf Bucket". As far as the ornaments at least he didn't try and eat them like my brother did when we were kids. Nyrees right post a picture of Lexi's hair. I always liked her hair shorter.
