Lexi's Hair-Do
Lexi is currently growing her hair out (despite the fact that she gave herself her first haircut a few weeks ago). She REALLY hates to get her hair done and this is the source of much contention in our home. Well...I was looking at Steph's blog today and jumped over to her cute hair do blogs. I found TONS of really cute hair styles. I knew that I could show them to Lexi and show her that Tess let her mom do it, I could coax her into letting me do it and VOILA...it worked!!! I am not nearly the pro that Stephanie is, but we tried. Lexi picked out her own hair do and requested that her picture be on the computer like Tess did. Thanks Steph! She wants me to try more tomorrow!!!! Here is my little darling!

Cami I love it! Lexi is so stinkin cute, I can't believe how big she is getting! Her hair has grown so long too! Tell her that Candace saw her picture on the computer and thinks she is beautiful!
Now I just have to have a little girl so I can do all this fun stuff to her hair!
Very cute...but she is cute no matter what. That is one reason I am nervous to ever have a girl...I can barely do my own hair, forget a little girls!! Hey check your schedule these next couple of weekends. If we leave it up to our dumb husbands, we will never see each other. See when you guys are going to be around, so we can all get together. Its been way to long!
I think you did a fantastic job on her hair! I don't know why you say you can't do it as well. It looks darling! She is so cute, and I'm glad you found a trick that works! It always helps to play into a girl's vanity I guess. Just tell her she can have her picture on the computer for everyone to see and she will love it from now on!:) Good job!

We have a rule at our house. Because we have so many girls (and none of them wanted their hair done when they were little). if you can't take care of it (in other words let me do it) we have to cut it short. That helped for a long time. but I have become weak with my youngest daughter. I love her long hair so much that I can't bear to cut it so I've let har slide more than I should. at least she lets me do it when we go places. It's just a mess if you come to our house.
